Heatbit has unveiled an innovative product, the Bitwater element, an $899 water heater component designed to mine Bitcoin while simultaneously heating a water tank. This device replaces the traditional resistance heating wire found in a tank with 20 dedicated mining chips. Heatbit asserts that the Bitwater element uses the same electricity to perform both functions: generating heat for water and contributing to Bitcoin mining operations, effectively repurposing energy consumption.
